PATCHES TO EARN




  Here are a few patches you can earn.  They do have requirements for you to do, follow the instruction that are required of you, complete the forms and send it in.

     Be honest as a Scout should be and do the necessary requirements.
 
 

THE WORLD CONSERVATION AWARD

    This is one that is in your Scout book.  It takes some work, however even though it is in your book very few Scouts earn it.  But you can, just open up your book and see how much you have already done earning your Achievements and Electives.
 
 




SERVICE TO AMERICA

     The Boy Scouts of America has asked all Scouts to do 12 hours of community service hours in the year 2000.  This is one of the area's were the Scouts try to promote good values in our boys.  If you have completed 12 hours you can receive the Service to America patch.

You can also earn the National Park Service patch if you do 12 hours in a National Park.


 
 
 
 
 
 

INTERNET PATCH

     This patch is earned by spending a little time on your computer and the internet.  Print out the form complete the necessary requirements and you have your self a patch. Chances are you have done most of the requirements already.

MILLENNIUM PATCH

     This patch is sponsored by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting.  It is a beautiful patch, when one is wearing it you will surly notice.  The program for this patch is designed for the Catholic Scout.  However it is available to all Christian boys and girls scouts and adult leaders.
 
 





The BSA Family Program

    This patch requires you to spend some time with your family, you already spend time with your family, well then check out the requirements and see if you have already earned the patch, in not complete the necessary item and it is yours.
 
 

THE CONSERVATION GOOD TURN PROGRAM

     The Conservation Good Turn is an opportunity for Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops, Varsity Scout teams, and Explorer posts to join with conservation or environmental organizations (federal, state, local, or private) to carry out a conservation Good Turn in their home communities.
