PACK
MEETING GUIDELINES
Pack
meetings are for Cub Scouts and their families
-
Each Scout needs to be
accompanied by a parent. If a parent is unable to attend the pack meeting,
the parent should arrange for another adult (other than the Den Leader)
to accompany the Scout.
-
The parent or other adult
should sit with or near the Scout's den during the pack meeting.
-
Scouts will sit with
there dens at all times.
Pack
meetings are for fun, entertainment and presenting awards to deserving
Scouts and adults
-
The gathering period
is the time for Scouts and family member to arrive before the actual start
time of the pack meeting. The packs will have an activity prepared
for the Scouts and family member to enjoy before the start of the pack
meeting.
-
Scouts and their families
may be asked to participate in games or songs during the pack meeting.
-
During award ceremonies,
please sit quietly, listen and show respect for others at the meeting.
-
Scouts
will not bring personal electronic games, sports ball are other items to
play with, they are here for the meeting. Siblings may bring "quite
activities" to keep them occupied.
-
Scouts
need to be in uniform! Un-uniformed Scouts will not participate in
opening/closing ceremonies nor will they receive any advancement they deserve.
-
The
rules that your children must obey while attending school apply while attending
the pack meeting.
Pack
meeting facilities are a gift to the pack
-
When
using the school of IHM-St. Luke's for our pack meetings, we must keep
in mind that they do not have to provide us with space. This is a
gift form the school and the Church of Saint Luke's.
-
All
Scouts and siblings are not allowed to run freely in the building. We must
stay in the area we have been given permission to use If a Scout or sibling
need to use the restroom, escort them. Many time other groups are
also using another portion of the school and we must keep noise levels
down.
-
EVERYONE
is
to stay out of class rooms, off stages, out of the kitchen, and away from
play ground equipment and toys.
-
We must keep all school
entrance door lock at all times, no propping doors open. We are only
allowed entry access to Scouts and their families, if someone is there
for another group, then that group has the responsibility to allow access,
not the pack
Parents
need to lead by example
-
For the safety and enjoyment
of all Scouts and their families, parents need to supervise their
Scouts and sibling children at all times.
-
Parents are responsible
for their child(ren)'s behavior.
